Bittersweet Raspberry and Parsley Smoothie

"This smoothie is great for in the morning. The mango and raspberries balance out the bitterness of the grapefruit and kick-start your taste buds. Pumpkin seeds add protein to fuel your day, while parsley is great for detoxing your liver. You can substitute kale for the spinach."

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 1/3 cup 1% milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons raw pumpkin seeds

Instructions :

  • Blend spinach, ice, grapefruit, mango, raspberries, milk, parsley, and pumpkin seeds together in a blender until smooth.
