"Uses gelatin to flavor and color this sugar cookie."
Ingredients :
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 (3 ounce) package fruit flavored Jell-O® mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions :

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, gelatin, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients.
- Roll dough into 3/4 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
Notes :
- Reynolds® parchment can be used for easier cleanup/removal from the pan.
